CalCPA Scholarship – due June 30, 2014

The CalCPA Channel Counties Chapter is offering a scholarship ranging from $500 – $2500. Eligibility requirements are as follows:

  • Must have a 3.0 or above in all college level accounting courses and 3.0 or above in all college course work completed in the 2013-2014 academic year.
  • Be enrolled in a college or university accounting program in the Santa Barbara or Ventura counties.
  • Be a member of CalCPA. Membership is free for students and you can register online at www.calcpa.org/join or complete the membership portion of the attached scholarship application.

Scholarship applications are due by June 30, 2014. A completed application includes: Two letters of recommendation (at least one from a professor and one from a work related individual if applicable), a written essay (Max 250 words), signed declaration attesting to eligibility, copy of transcript and a resume. Applications are attached to this email.
