ABOUT THE ROLE The Firmwide Strategy Group reports to the firm’s Chief Strategy Officer and works with the Executive Office to set and execute key strategic priorities for the firm. The team develops, evaluates, and executes plans for new businesses and growth initiatives and leads strategic transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, and dispositions. We seek candidates with an interest in investment banking, accounting, modeling and corporate finance. In addition, successful candidates are strategic thinkers and have strong communication skills. The Firmwide Strategy Group has proven to be a gateway to a number of attractive career paths. Past team members have been promoted to senior leadership positions within the group as well as transitioned to investing and management positions inside Goldman Sachs and elsewhere, corporate strategy roles within various industries, and traditional investment banking. Past junior team members have also entered leading MBA programs.

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS• Current junior in an undergraduate program• Demonstrated interest in entrepreneurship and investment banking• Self-starting, highly proactive person who demonstrates initiative and ownership and can work with little direction on complicated, sensitive assignments
