Full-time Position at LA Law Firm – Sklar Kirsh, LLP

Sklar Kirsh, LLP, a corporate, real estate, entertainment, and litigation law firm is seeking a highly motivated, detail oriented, and enthusiastic receptionist/administrative assistant to join our team. Candidate will experience the inner-workings of a law firm from both an administrative and legal perspective. This position will greatly benefit a candidate who is interested in pursuing a career in law and/or business management.

Responsibilities:

  • welcoming and greeting clients and guests
  • managing and answering incoming calls through a multi-line phone system
  • routing calls to attorneys and staff
  • monitoring and booking conference rooms
  • maintaining calendar and contact management for the name partners
  • assisting with attorney time entry
  • corresponding with clients
  • assisting with monthly billing
  • conducting online research
  • interfacing with the firm’s document management system
  • other general administrative and legal support as necessary

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Must have excellent phone, email and communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, and Adobe preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and meticulous follow through
  • Must have ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • High level of organizational, clerical and writing skills
  • Must have a strong work ethic, positive demeanor, and be a practical problem solver
  • Must have an excellent attitude and maintain composure under sometimes stressful conditions

Hours: 40 hours/week

Compensation: Hourly
