Kevin O’Connor was the initial investor in Internet Security Systems, which went public in 1999 and later was sold to IBM for $1.4 billion and the co-founder of DoubleClick, which went public in 1998 and in 2005 was sold to private equity firm Hellman and Friedman for $1.2 billion and then in 2007 was sold to Google for $3.1 billion. O’Connor is also the author of The Map of Innovation: Creating Something Out of Nothing, and is currently the CEO of FindTheBest.com, a Santa Barbara based start-up backed by venture capital firm Kleiner Perkins.
