GMC Mentors Needed!
The Gaucho Mentor Connection (GMC) is now accepting applications for mentors for the 2023-2024 cohort!
GMC is a peer to peer mentorship program for staff that provides participants the opportunity for professional development, networking and skill acquisition. We recruit staff mentors to participate in our program each year from all parts of campus to try to meet as many mentee needs as possible. We then pair each mentor with a mentee based on the goals each mentee wants to accomplish. Our yearly cycle starts in August when we recruit new mentees and mentors. Once they are paired up, they work together from October through June of the following year.
With the retention issues our campus is experiencing, having great mentors for this program is extremely important. AMP members have institutional and career knowledge that would be immensely valuable to newer staff members on this campus.
