The annual call for Economics Awards and Scholarships is now open and you are welcome to nominate yourself for any of these awards. The deadline is Friday, April 30, 2021 at 4pmand you must be a full major to qualify for these awards.
Attached to this email are the descriptions of each available award.  Please be sure to read the award descriptions thoroughly before you apply.  You will also be required to upload your resume and a personal essay to the Google form. In addition to these scholarships, the division of Social Sciences is providing no-cost Chromebooks to eligible students.

Thanks to recent support from our Social Science donors, UCSB Thrive is now able to distribute free Chromebooks to students who are majoring in the Social Sciences. These majors include: Anthropology, Asian American Studies, Black Studies, Chicana & Chicano Studies, Communication, Economics, Feminist Studies, Global Studies, Military Science, Political Science and Sociology. Students who receive these Chromebooks will be encouraged to provide a thank you note to our supporting donors.
