We are bringing back The Gauntlet for the first time during Winter Quarter! The Winter Gauntlet is a 75-minute long experience for students that allows them to undergo the various stages of recruiting in one setting. They start by having their resumes critiqued, then rotate into a mock Meet the Firms experience, and finish with a mock interview. The event is staffed by accounting professionals so it’s a great way to get some one-on-one time with the professionals and to gain experience with recruiting before Winter Meet the Firms. This event is for first and second-year students who intend on attending Winter Meet the Firms to search for Freshman Programs and Summer Leadership Programs. The Winter Gauntlet will take place on Friday, January 15th from 1:00 – 5:35 PM over Zoom.

Winter Meet the Firms is the second-largest recruiting event that UAS organizes during the year, the first being Fall Meet the Firms. This career fair-style networking and recruiting event connects students with professionals and recruiters in the accounting profession. We host representatives from the Big Four, mid-size, regional, and local firms. Firms in attendance are generally seeking to find first-year and second-year students interested in Freshman Programs or Summer Leadership Programs (SLPs), though all students are welcome to attend. Winter Meet the Firms will take place on Friday, January 29th from 3:00 – 6:00 PM over Zoom.
