The Accounting Program at UCSB will present its awards at the 39th Annual Accounting Banquet which this year will be via Zoom, Friday , June 12, 2020 at 7:00pm. Each year the department, along with the generosity of accounting firms, provides monetary awards to deserving students.
You are invited to nominate yourself to receive one or more of the following awards:
Junior or Senior Scholastic Awards*
Maxwell Pellish Award for Outstanding Service (Seniors)**
Robert J. Swenson Award for Outstanding Scholastic Achievement and Service (Seniors)**
* GPA based awards; students with a minimum 3.65 are encouraged to apply( there is no guarantee that you will receive an award if you have a 3.65 GPA).
** Personal essay is required.
A complete application includes:
◆ Completed self-nomination form
◆ Most recent unofficial transcript
◆ Personal essay (if applicable)
To be eligible for the Junior Scholastic award you must have completed
at least 4 UCSB accounting courses (including Winter 2020).
To be eligible for the Senior Scholastic Award you must have completed
at least 7 UCSB accounting courses (including Winter 2020).
