Salary: $64,987 – $77,946 (DOQ/DOE)
The Santa Barbara County Office of the Auditor-Controller seeks to fill four entry level Accountant-Auditor I positions. This is an amazing opportunity for a final year undergraduate student, or recent graduates with an accounting or related degree to work with one of the best Auditor-Controller Offices in the State of California. Not only will you be part of an amazing team of professionals, but you will become part of the new Auditor Training and Development Program that rotates new candidates over a 2 – 4 year period (depending on the candidate’s professional track) through all divisions within the Office of the Auditor-Controller to gain experience in accounting, auditing, and financial reporting. In addition to gaining the experience needed for a general CPA license, the County will pay for 75% of CPA review course fees.
