Job Description The UCSB Economics Department is redesigning its website and requires copywriters to assist with rewriting, restructuring and editing the website content.

The Econ website copywriters will be responsible for:
● Writing web-friendly copy
● Editing & proofreading website copy
● Assisting with restructuring website content
● Working with faculty and staff to get up to date bio’s and other information for the website
● Making suggestions for website improvements
● Writing instructions for website maintenance manuals

Requirements:
● Students must have either copy editing, writing, or website experience
● Students will begin working beginning November 2019 for 4-6 months
● Students are not expected to work over the summer
● Workload of 10 hrs per week with flexible scheduling around finals
● Position is paid, with competitive compensation, starting at $12/hr
