Digital Marketing Specialist Southern California Piano Academy ( seeks digital marketing specialist for multiple campaigns including private lessons, teacher training, music camp programs, community relations, arts grant relationships and awards, and monetization of music pedagogy as intellectual property. With over 30 years teaching experience, the school recently opened a second physical plant in Santa Barbara, CA, and serves a wide variety of clientele- from professional musicians and celebrity clients to deserving scholarship families. DESCRIPTION The Digital Marketing Specialist’s role is to design, create, and deliver marketing programs to support expansion and growth of the Company’s offerings. This role plays a key role in executing online and digital strategies related to various digital channels. This includes knowledge in SEM, Basic SEO, PPC, Google Adwords, and email marketing. The individual will be responsible for improving campaign, creating reports, and updating landing pages. Proficiency in graphics, web advertising, social media and web development is a must. The ideal candidate will combine the ability to strategize, curate, and schedule content across different marketing channels, with the creative design, video editing (where applicable), and photography skills necessary to create a portion of that content from scratch. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Develop, manage, and maintain SEM/PPC Search Engine Marketing campaigns; continuously improving on bottom line ROI and KPIs. • Understanding of Google AdWords and other pay-per-click platforms • Build social media organic ad campaigns and provide input, content and support • Assist in areas of SEO: site improvement, content building, and link building • Create reports and tracking mechanisms for the marketing initiatives • Perform other duties as assigned by management or as may be necessary including assisting with maintaining website, content writing, and event planning. • Track social media, promptly alert management of potentially sensitive postings, and advise management on social media platforms, best practices and their relevancy and potential impact to the organization’s mission and vision. • Assist in writing and editing copy for all communications and marketing materials. • Administrative tasks related to marketing and communication projects, maintain department project calendars and assist with vendor relations. Manage and update data lists used for ecommunications. • Code emails, pull relevant links and add tracking codes on all email assets • Lead A/B tests in subject lines, creative and copy tests to improve open-rates, click-through rates and conversion • Maintain and analyze weekly and monthly reports for email KPI results diving into subject line open rates and creative review click-through rates • Optimize emails for both desktop, tablet and mobile devices • Presenting recommendations to management. Desired Skills & Experience Minimum Qualifications 3 years towards Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Advertising and/or Graphics related field. Experience in digital marketing is a plus. Core Competency Requirements Deep understanding of digital marketing. Proven knowledge and understanding of delivering effective and innovative digital campaigns. Proven knowledge and understanding of delivering a variety of digital assets, including rich media online ads, website updates, and social media applications. Must be able to work under constant deadline pressure and manage multiple projects across multiple lines of business. Strong organizational skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
