UEA Professional Speaker Series

The Undergraduate Economics Association will be hosting its first professional speaker series this winter! The series will feature guests who speak about their experience working in fields relating to Private Equity, Economic Research, and Computer Science. Students interested in learning more about different career paths related to economics should make sure to attend these talks! All speakers will be hosted in North Hall 2212 from 5:30 to 6:30 PM during the UEA general meeting.

January 22nd Andrew Mutz

Andrew Mutz is a Chief Technology Officer at Appfolio. Professor Mutz received his BS and Ph.D. in Computer Science at UCSB and maintains a relationship with his alma mater as a lecturer in the computer science department. He also volunteers his time with other undergraduate organizations such as Data Science at UCSB.
