Accounting Students – Apply to be a Tutor & Grader

Hi UCSB Accounting students,

As you may have heard, UCSB Accounting’s Tutors and Graders are hiring for next quarter. Applications are available here and are due either online or in North Hall 1122 by Monday, March 5th.

For those of you unfamiliar with the program, the tutors are the undergraduate students that teach sections and hold office hours for your accounting classes. The graders are the undergraduate students that grade your exams and homework. Both positions are paid, look great on your resume, and give you the opportunity to build your network with accounting professors and some of the top students in the major.

We strongly encourage you to apply, even if think that your GPA isn’t high enough or have any similar concerns. If you’ll be finished with Econ 136A and 137A by the end of the quarter and have gotten at least a B in all of your accounting classes, we’d love to have the opportunity to consider your application.

If you have any questions or concerns about the program or application process, you can reach out to either of us at the email addresses here or stop by the program’s office in North Hall 1122.

We look forward to receiving your applications!

Best regards,

Steve Hess & Megan August
