Exploring Graduate School

Description: The decision to attend graduate school requires self-exploration, learning about your options, and understanding the application process. Come to this workshop to learn the skills and tools you need to make the most informed decision.
Law School Admissions Process Workshop
Date: October 30
Time: 5:30pm-7pm
Location: Career Services, Room 1109
Description: This workshop, presented by College of Letters & Science pre-law advisors, will discuss the major aspects of the law school admissions process including: Researching law schools, application process, letters of recommendation, and writing an effective personal statement. All class levels are welcome.
Health Admissions Panel

Description: Planning to attend a health professional school? Come hear from admissions representatives from various health programs about how to be the best candidate! This event will include a moderated panel, open question and answer, and networking time. Refreshments will be provided.

COMPANY INFO SESSIONS
Novacoast (for STEM Majors)
Date: October 30

Description: Novacoast is an IT Professional Services and Software Development firm, headquartered in Santa Barbara and offices nation-wide with practice areas in information security, including Internet security, identity management, desktop management, open source, Mac, and enterprise application development. Novacoast is currently looking for students interested in internship and full time positions, hiring interns from as early as their freshman summer all the way through and after graduation. Developing software at Novacoast requires excellent communication skills, self-motivation, and the ability to master new technologies quickly. Interns set their own hours around school and can work anywhere from 10 to 40 hours a week. Come to our information session to learn more about our rapidly growing company.
