Jumpstart Workshops: Searching for a job or internship can be overwhelming, which is exactly why we’ve crafted a new “Jumpstart” workshop series designed to help you relieve some stress! Take 20 minutes out of your day to jump on in; you’ll leave confident to go out into the world and snag your dream job. We’re offering Jumpstarts next week on Handshake, On-Campus Interviews, Cover Letters, Resumes, and LinkedIn (scroll down for the dates, times, and locations).
Accounting Recruitment: Are you an Econ/Accounting student? Looking for internship experience or a job post-grad? We’ve got you covered! Attend the first undergraduate Accounting Society meeting Tuesday (10/3) at 6:30pm at North Hall 1006.
Meet the Firms
Meet the Firms (MTF) is a networking event for Econ/Accounting students, giving you the chance to meet recruiters working for accounting firms. Representatives from the Big Four, mid-size, and regional firms will be in attendance. 500 students and over 35 firms, all under one roof—this is the place to be! MTF will be held on October 13. Spots are selling like hotcakes…register ASAP to secure a place!
Get Ready for Accounting Recruitment Workshops
These quick Jumpstart workshops will teach you how to use Handshake to sign up for On-Campus Interviews set up by accounting firms. Come in to learn exactly how to apply for OCI positions and how to secure an interview time. We’re holding THREE 30 minute workshops on Friday (10/6) from 1pm-2:30pm in the Career Resource Room (CRR).

Looking to stand out at MTF? Attend our workshop on Friday (10/6) from 3pm-4:30pm in Career Services, Room 1109 to learn tips and tricks to polish your elevator pitch and impress the recruiters.
