I am launching a VP/Corporate Controller search for a company called Invoca, based in downtown Santa Barbara, and am trying to network with alum to see if they have any ideas of SaaS-business Controllers that might want to return to the area.

A little information on the company: Invoca is the leading provider of cloud-based call marketing solutions; it provides a SaaS platform that delivers “call intelligence” to global brands and helps them drive sales and optimize marketing spend related to inbound customer calls. Invoca’s technology and platform address a huge untapped market opportunity and blind spot in the marketing automation space.

Invoca has been growing revenue fast—the company is on track to double revenue this year versus 2014. The company has over 400 customers, including many Fortune 500 brands such as Allstate, DirecTV, Dish Network, and The Home Depot. Invoca is backed by Accel Partners, Salesforce Ventures, Rincon Venture Partners, and Upfront Ventures and has a leadership team with a strong track-record of successfully growing companies.

We’re looking for someone who will work closely with Invoca’s senior leadership team and is capable of scaling the Accounting infrastructure and team to ready Invoca for an IPO (more information attached). If any ideas for our search come to mind, would love to hear them.
