Freeman & Mills is a leader in providing economic and financial analysis of liability and damages issues arising in business litigation.  Freeman & Mills provides expert counsel in antitrust litigation, intellectual property rights disputes, securities fraud litigation, mergers and acquisitions, contract disputes among others.

Increasingly, the successful resolution of complex litigation matters requires a combination of accounting, financial, statistical and economic analytical techniques.  The firm provides a full range of services to meet the needs of both large and small projects, including preparation of expert reports, critiques of reports filed by opposing experts, development of direct and cross-examination testimony, assistance in depositions and consultation on litigation strategy.

 At Freeman & Mills, the professional staff plays an integral role in each project team. Day-to-day responsibilities can include the following:

  • Review and analyze financial statements
  • Consider applicability of professional standards, GAAP and GAAS
  • Building financial and economic models
  • Maintaining databases for complex project analysis
  • Conducting research to support analyses
  • Performing statistical analyses and manipulations
  • Supervising teams of individuals
  • Preparing analyses to be used as exhibits in depositions and trials
  • Communicating directly with Project Directors, Principals and clients
