Tulane University has a new Ph.D. Program specializing in Economic Anaysis and Policy. Some of its distinguishing features include: generous funding, small and highly selective cohorts, and a strong applied policy focus. The program is based in the Department of Economics, but it has important partnerships that foster interdisciplinary approach, including the Freeman School of Business, the Stone Center for Latin American Studies, the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences, and the Murphy Institute of Political Economy. They are focusing on fields where we have considerable strength: public economics, health, education, and human capital, or inequality and poverty, please tell them about the Ph.D. Program in Economic Analysis and Policy in the Department of Economics at Tulane University.
