INFORMATION SESSIONS
Japanese Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program

The Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program, now in its 28th year, is aimed at promoting grass-roots international exchange between Japan and other nations. Participants work in Japan as full-time English teaching assistants or as coordinators for international relations. This program is sponsored by the Japanese government, and is facilitated by Japanese consulates and embassies all over the world. The number of countries sending participants has risen over the years, as has the number of participants. Since its inception, the JET Program has hosted over 55,000 participants from 62 countries. The first hour of this session will address general JET information. The second hour will focus on the application itself and will address common questions and issues for those who plan to apply.
