The FIRST step in Challenge is forming a team. Your team must have not more than (2) upperclassmen. An upperclassman is someone who will graduate in two years or less. If you are graduating in three years or more, you are considered an underclassman for the purposes of this competition. Teams must have AT LEAST (4) members but no more than (5) members. Please try to meet up with friends or discuss with professors the best way to meet team members. Attending the Mission Meeting meeting on Wednesday is a great chance to meet team members. If you still are unable to find team members, please email me who you have as team members so far and what type of student you need to complete your team (Underclassman/ Upperclassman). If we can still not find a team for you, please attend the Mission Meeting so we can help find a team that best suits you. Once you have found a team, please e-mail me the complete team with all members, emails, grade level, team name, and faculty mentor.
You will be assigned a PwC mentor to help walk you through the competition and guide you on your path to a solution. It is the teams responsibility to obtain a faculty mentor. In prior years Bob Anderson (email@example.com) and Coby Harmon (firstname.lastname@example.org) have been mentors to the majority of the teams and I have confirmed their willingness to participate again. If your team wins they receive $500, so they want to help you as much as they can!
The Mission Meeting is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT. I will be walking through the details of the Challenge for the presentation and answering any questions you may have. This is also an opportunity to finalize teams.
The Mission Meeting is immediately after a PwC presentation to the Accounting Association which you are all encouraged to attend. YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE CASE DETAILS IF YOU DO NOT SIGN UP FOR CHALLENGE BY THIS DATE. In order to get working on the case, you need to be signed up with your team by this time. If you cannot attend the Mission Meeting for any reason please email me for further instructions. We will have food and drinks for you at the Mission Meeting, so come hungry!
