Are you looking for valuable and challenging academic and work experience?
Then you should seriously consider the UCSB Washington (UCDC) or the UC Center in Sacramento (UCCS) programs. These residential programs, which combine internships and research in our state and national capitals, are open to juniors and seniors of all majors. Students who are financial aid recipients are eligible for supplementary financial aid awards.
Students who attend UCDC and UCCS rate the programs as their most valuable experiences as undergraduates. The programs place students right in the middle of dynamic cities, surrounded by history and alive with culture, providing all majors with a multi-dimensional educational experience. The programs also allow students to undertake cultural and social activities while participating in an academic program.
Application materials and further information are available on the undergraduate education website: http://www.duels.ucsb.edu/opportunities. Internship information is available online and from the UCDC staff in 2110 North Hall, 893-3090, or by email at ucdc@Ltsc.ucsb.edu.
