Sponsor Relations & Membership Assistant

UC Santa Barbara Alumni Association

The UCSB Alumni Association is seeking a multi-talented individual to fill our student position of Sponsor Relations & Membership Assistant.  This individual must be able to start immediately & work through June 2014.  This dynamic position is ideal for an experienced student who wants to learn about business relations, and is ready to take initiative on new projects.

SPONSORSHIP responsibilities include:

–          Acting as a liason between sponsors & the UCSB Alumni Association

–          Coordinating meetings

–          Editing sponsorship & advertising packets

–          Processing billing & payment (create invoices, track data on excel)

–          Ensuring fulfillment of sponsorship agreements

MEMBERSHIP responsibilities include:

–          Keeping alumni records up-to-date

–          Assisting with membership mailings & packages

**Other duties as assigned

Our Ideal Candidate has:

–          A preferred major in: Economics, Communication, TMP

–          Work experience in business/accounting

–          Strong verbal and written communication skills

Additional Criteria:

–          Able to work 2013 Graduation Weekend (June 14 -16, 2013)

–          MUST be able to work 2014 Graduation Weekend (exception if you will be a senior graduating in 2014)

–          MUST be able to work the 2014 “All Gaucho Reunion” (April 24-27, 2014)
