The Strategic Business Program consists of a series of 16 one-unit courses offered at convenient times that students may take in addition to and concurrently with their regular undergraduate coursework.

Real estate prices can be volatile. Navigating this market can be confusing, but with a little knowledge the process can be made easier for consumers and investors. This course examines important fundamentals of the real estate market. Topics include:

  • The basics of the real estate market, including financing options
  • The advantages and disadvantages associated with renting, leasing, and purchasing real estate
  • Real estate decisions for business owners
  • Investing in real estate
  • Forecasting future real estate prices

Professor Bedard has fantastic speakers lined up for each night of the course including: local real estate agents, the developer of Camino Real Marketplace and a mortgage brokers.  This is a great opportunity for you to gain valuable insight into this market.

If you have a class that conflicts with the time of the class arrangements can be made on a case by case basis.
