Interested in investing?  The Investment Advisory Committee (IAC) is an entirely student-run organization. We are dedicated to educating UCSB students in the areas of finance and investing. Working with an active portfolio currently valued at $80,000, participants accumulate genuine experience in securities and portfolio management through hands-on investment experience.

The Committee also hosts presentations in an effort to educate UCSB students and foster financial industry network connections. Our events feature prominent professionals within the fields of investment banking, venture capital, wealth and asset management, and others. Such events range from single lecturers, to panels, presentations, and dinners with notable financial professionals. Our events afford UCSB students the opportunity to cultivate relationships with professionals in the financial industry.
