Marketing Internship with Mesa Lane Partners

This is a great opportunity for an outgoing, bright, forward-thinking individual to get involved with hands-on marketing for an upcoming project in Isla Vista.  This internship is a valuable learning and mentorship experience.

Mesa Lane Partners is a Santa Barbara based real estate company focused on environmentally sensitive, sustainable infill development projects in SB County and coastal areas of Southern California.  MLP projects are hip, funky, and innovative – based on an urban mixed-use model – and geared toward the young professional/student.

Interns will assist in the creation and execution of marketing strategy including research, content development, community and public outreach, e-campaigns, and social media networking. Interns must be able to commit to one 2 hour meeting at MLP office in downtown Santa Barbara, and work independently or with other interns approximately 5-10 hours per week.  Much of the work will be completed outside of office.

Ideal candidate will have either have a current major or background experience in communications, economics or marketing.  Must be a self-starter, and able to work independently toward established deadlines.  Candidate should be up beat, positive, open to coaching, able to work with a team, and industrious in their work ethic.  Creativity and innovation is strongly encouraged and will be key to success.
