Summary:

Full-Time Marketing and Design Associate Position for Santa Barbara based multi-national family office.

 

The family offices managing the worldwide affairs and U.S. based companies of a high-net worth individual seek a Marketing and Design Associate to assist the Director of Marketing in the branding, projects, and marketing campaigns of its offices. You will work closely with our vendors, the multiple divisions and companies within the office, the IT team, and management.

SG Acquisitions serves as an opportunistic investment firm focusing towards the acquisition and rehabilitation of real estate, early stage capital investments, and structured credit solutions. Throughout the market dislocations, SG Acquisitions invested over $150,000,000 in commercial and residential properties in California and Washington State. In addition, SG Acquisitions has periodically invested in startup companies such as 7flowers.re, TekTrak.com, Groop Therapy, SG Private Wealth Advisors, and SG Premier Lending Group.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Brochure Design
  • Advertise and maintain the public image and integrity of company assets (photos, web presence, etc.)
  • Web maintenance (we have multiple sites built on Joomla and WordPress)
  • Company Mailers
  • Direct Advertising Mailers
  • Research and execute new campaigns and projects
  • Work directly with our vendors for marketing campaigns and supplies
  • Assist teams and divisions in their marketing needs

Requirements (you will not be considered without these):

  • Cover Letter
  • Portfolio with clear examples of brochure, web, branding work (either online or .pdf)
  • Mac and PC experience
  • MUST be a multi-tasker, CONSTANT new projects. We cannot emphasis this enough!
  • Be able to take a project from small ideas and multiple iterations to complete execution
  • Proficient in Adobe’s Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator and InDesign
  • MS Office Suite
  • Ability to grow with an elite group of professionals
  • In Area (805)

Additional Qualifications

  • A designer who can put out a brochure in an afternoon
  • Marketing background in Brand Management
  • HTML5, CSS, XML, browser backwards compatibility experience,
  • CMS  experience (ie Joomla + WordPress)
  • Social Media experience (mainly Twitter + LinkedIn)
  • Email + Online Advertising Campaigns
  • Experience with high end clientele; privacy and discretion is essential in our business
  • We will consider recent graduates with the right attitude and supporting portfolio!

Salary: $35-40,000

NO subcontractors, this is a full-time position.
