Ernst & Young’s 2011 Case Study Competition: BEAM ABROAD

Beam Abroad is a competition that challenges student teams to expand technical accounting skills for International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), build global mindset and learn about global opportunities.  The top team from Ernst & Young’s West sub-area will receive a trip abroad. Prizes will be given to the UCSB 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams. Regardless of who wins, all students involved have the opportunity to work with each other, with EY professionals, and to learn how to go global with Ernst & Young.

We hope you can make it to our EY Case Study Competition Kickoff Meeting on Tuesday, October 18 at 5:30pm in North Hall-Room 1110, where we will go over details of the case competition.  Food & beverages will be provided.

The actual case competition will happen on October 26th on campus.Location: TBD.  No advance preparation is required and there will not be an oral presentation component for the case.  Further details will be provided at the Kickoff meeting.  You can also read more about the competition and register at www.ey.com/us/beamabroad.  The deadline to register for the competition is Thursday, October 13, 2011 (space is limited).
