Jens Olson and Shawn Alt of Moelis & Company, an M&A and Restructuring investment banking firm, will be presenting on various topics within the investment banking industry.

Jens is currently a second-year associate at Moelis & Company. Prior to Moelis, Jens was an associate at Vulcan Capital, the private equity arm of Paul Allen’s Vulcan Inc. Prior to Vulcan, he was an analyst in Merrill Lynch’s Financial Sponsors and Global Industrials investment banking groups in Los Angeles. Jens graduated from UCSB in 2006 with a B.S. in Financial Mathematics & Statistics.

Shawn is currently second-year analyst at Moelis & Company and will be joining Arrowhead Mezzanine, a mezzanine lending firm located in Greenwich, CT, in July 2011. Prior to Moelis, Shawn was an analyst at Commerce Capital Group, a boutique investment banking firm located in Santa Barbara, CA. Shawn is a founding member of the Finance Connection and graduated from UCSB in 2009 with a B.A. in Business Economics with Emphasis in Accounting.
