Networking Event on April 26, 2011 sponsored by the UCSB Alumni Association.

Career consultant, career coach, author and speaker Cindy Chernow will facilitate a lively, interactive evening that will provide attendees the skills and information to be successful at creating, growing and utilizing one’s professional network. Chernow has served as a consultant to companies such as Boeing, AT&T, Raytheon, PAC-10, Orfalea Foundation, NASA, and the Los Angeles Times Women’s conference.

As you are aware, most jobs are found not on-line, or through want-ads but through professional networks. The strength of one’s professional network is more important than ever in today’s challenging economy. Knowing someone in the company in which one has an interest can place you in the seat of that job rather than an unknown candidate.
