SBSHC Position Opening

Santa Barbara Student Housing Cooperative, an Isla Vista not-for-profit (http://www.sbcoop.org), is seeking to fill a position withe responsibilities including some office administration, accounts receivable entry, and fundraising duties. The position is to be ten hours per week, comprised of three three-hour mornings and one one-hour staff meeting. Work is to be compensated at $10.00 per hour. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, have experience with grassroots and more formal fundraising methods, have knowledge of Quickbooks (preferably QB Online), not shy away from clerical work, and be comfortable being supervised by two other staff members. SBSHC are looking to its membership, as well as relevant programs on the UCSB campus (e.g. accounting) for candidates. This position is open until filled. SBSHC’s main office is situated next to the office of another Isla Vista not-for-profit in need of someone to fill a position responsible for essentially the same duties. This not-for-profit, the University Religious Conference, would ideally like to hire the same person working for SBSHC, which would provide for a twenty hour per week job compensated at $10.00 per hour for the right person.
